How To Get There - Bay of Roses / Camping la Ballena Alegre 2

With your own or a rental car, take motorway (Autopista) A 7 (French border - Barcelona) to go to Club Mistral / Skyriders.

If you are coming from the direction of France or from the Girona or Barcelona airports, please take Exit 5, "L'Escala / Empuries".After leaving the motorway, drive straight on in the direction of L'Escala for about 20 kilometres. Shortly before L'Escala, you will reach a roundabout. There is a Tourist Office on the right. Here, take the second road (N.B.: you will no longer be travelling in the direction of L'Escala), where signs will direct you to "St Marti de Empuries" and "Platjas de St Pere Pescador". Now drive straight on. You will pass the small medieval town of St Marti de Empuries, located on your right. Drive straight on at this roundabout. They you cross a small bridge, from where you can already see the large yellow sign of La Ballena Alegre camping park. It is the first camping park on the right. The Club Mistral / Skyriders centre is at the bottom right-hand corner of the camping park (ocean view).

Parking

If you are not staying in one of the bungalows at La Ballena Alegre but in one of the nearby hotels, you have two parking options.

Opening times of the camping May15th until 20th of September

1. If you would nevertheless like to avail yourself of the camping park services (swimming pools, restaurant, bar, tennis courts (for a fee), massage (for a fee), gym), please park your car in the camping park at the Club Mistral centre. As a Club Mistral / Skyriders customer, you will get a 50% discount on the admission fee. In the high season (July and August) this is NOT possible unfortunatley.

2.Club Mistral/ Skyriders guests have to show their voucher or  a confirmation  of the center at the reception and can park  their car at the parking of the reception. In only 5 minutes walking distance you will reach the Club Mistral Center.

During the following times: April 16th - May 14th and after September 20th you can enter with your own car in the camping and park directly behind the center without fee! Just follow the signs!
