Windsurf Instruction

We offer Beginner Training for young and old in Marsa Alam. Everybody is welcome to try out and discover windsurfing with the latest equipment. In the "New School" style (after 30 min. on the board), we use the lightest boards and sails and the shortest masts. Safe windsurfing in a shallow bay, especially for beginners, with no waves and in small groups.

Marsa Alam is also a suitable spot for Kids & Youngster Training. It is always a privilege to introduce young people to such a great sport and we take pride in providing the best quality in both tuition and material (with a good dose of fun) in our kids’ lessons. We offer kids lesson for all levels in a big lagoon with shallow water.

For beginners who want to refresh the basics our Refresher Training is the perfect choice.

And for those who want to improve or learn certain manoevres they can choose from the Advanced Training (held in small groups), Semi-Private or Private Training. You can learn everything from beachstart to freestyle manoeuvres. Consistant warm wind, and clear water makes the learning process fast and students will have a lot of fun with their first steps in windsurfing.

All lesson times will be arranged depending on the windforecast to get the best conditions for everyone.

Wind: The wind blows predominantly from the North (sideshore from the left) and is extremely constant and tends to last the whole day. If it is already blowing with a force of 5 or more in the morning, it will most probably stay this strong for the rest of the day. A thermal wind dominates in the summer and can blow all day with 4 – 8 bft. The spot in Marsa Alam offers flat water and further out some swell which makes Marsa Alam a perfect spot for windsurfers of all levels. The flat, shallow water in the lagoon is the ideal place for beach- and waterstart- training, and provides the best conditions to achieve fully planing gybes before hitting the swell again, as well as other freestyle manoeuvres. If you are looking to perfect your gybes, then this is the spot for you!
