Windsurf Instruction

The complete instruction program is available on Sal, from Beginner & Refresher Training, Advanced Training to Semi-Private and Private Training.

The most popular and most frequently attended courses are: water start, fast tack, harness sailing and gybe. As Cape Verde is well known for its waves and guests therefore have an opportunity to experience a new windsurfing dimension, wave units are also part of our program.
As the wind tends to be stronger around midday and in the afternoon, Beginner & Refresher Training are held in the morning and the units for the intermediate and advanced in the afternoon, between 12 a.m. and 4 p.m. As the number of participants is sometimes quite small and their skills levels vary greatly, maximum flexibility is necessary.

Wind direction:
Good wind conditions (cross offshore from the left) and a huge sandy beach with lots of space make the spot extremely attractive for instruction purposes. Unfortunately, the wind is somewhat gusty in the first 200 m offshore and there is no shallow area (for training beach- or waterstart) in the entire bay. Here, too, we use video coaching a lot.

Courses are held in French, English, Spanish, Italian or German.
