Location: Hotel Punta Sur is located about 6 km west of Tarifa, exactly between the Club Mistral & Skyriders Hurricane and Valdevaqueros Centers. You easily reach both centers in only 3 minutes by car. Though the hotel is not located at the beach front but on the other side of the road, you can enjoy great views of the street of Gibraltar thanks to its hill side location. This nice and charming accommodation has been completely refurbished only a few years ago.

Amenities and facilities: Surely Hotel Punta Sur is one of the most charming and most beautiful accommodations in Tarifa. The bungalow style rooms are spread behind the main building amongst the beautiful and well-kept tropical garden. The swimming pool, surrounded by a large sunbathing area with sun beds and chairs, invites for a relaxing pool side afternoon, while the children enjoy the onsite playground.
The lobby at the main building is very spacious and friendly decorated. Here you can enjoy a drink at the bar or just relax in the couches around the chimney. The restaurant has an excellent reputation. In summer the restaurant will be extended on the terrace and garden. Free wireless internet is available throughout the lobby and restaurant area.
If you are up for some sportive activities you can hit some balls on the tennis court or visit the well equipped fitness room at Hotel Hurricane. Afterwards indulge with a relaxing, invigorating massage at either of the hotels.

Rooms: All rooms are individually decorated and reflect the variety of different regions on earth. They are comfortable and modernly furnished. Besides spacious double rooms and elegant junior suites the hotel offers family suites with separate bedrooms and one gorgeous suite with amazing sea views.

The spacious double rooms are spread around the garden and have a semi-private seating area in the front. Each room is equipped with queen-size bed, couch, air conditioning/heating, TV (local channels), DVD player, minibar, fridge and phone. The huge bathrooms provide a bathtub with separate shower, WC and blow dryer.
The junior suites are a bit bigger and more comfortable than the double rooms and also offer a cozy seating area. The stand-alone bathtubs in the impressive, rustic-elegant bathrooms are a real eye-catcher. All units have a large terrace with own sun beds. Thanks to the hillside location the upper 3 junior suites offer a great view over the street of Gibraltar.      
The family suites are large units with a master bedroom with queen-size bed and a living-/sleeping area with two separate beds and a big couch and TV. The bathrooms in these units are rather small but two family suites offer two bathrooms each.
The suite is located at the highest point of the property and offers amazing views from the private terrace. You also enjoy the same view from the bed. The bedroom features an appealing bathroom with outdoor-shower. The living room is equipped with two bed couches. Another smaller bathroom is attached to the living room. This bright accommodation is very spacious.

Board basis: The buffet-breakfast is served at the restaurant and the terrace outside. Coffee in all variations is available at the bar.
