Location: The upscale camping La Ballena Alegre is situated on the south end of Golf de Roses between St. Pere Pescador and L’Escala on a 2 km long and sandy beach. Our Club Mistral & Skyriders Center is located at the right end of the camping ground.

Amenities & facilities: The camping is very comfortable and has a lot to offer, especially for families. There is animation for everyone - two mini clubs, children's pool, skate park, soccer and basketball court, four swimming pools and a fitness center. Aerobic lessons are included! Three tennis courts and professional massage treatments are available at an extra charge. Next to the new OASIS beach bar, which is located opposite of Club Mistral, you find a disco and a pub. There are two cash machines, an internet café, bookshop, pharmacy, doctor, supermarket, bakery and a self service restaurant, an a la carte restaurant, pizza place and much more.
Wireless internet is available at the Club Mistral Center at 5.50 EUR for 5 hours.

Bungalows: The Mediterraneo Bungalows are right behind our Club Mistral Center and you will therefore be living directly adjacent to it. They are suitable for maximum 4 persons. The bungalows are equipped with two small bedrooms, one with two single beds and one with a bunk bed, shower with separate WC and living room with fully equipped kitchenette incl. stove, fridge, kitchen utensils, and new: dishwasher and Nespresso coffee maker. Nespresso tabs can be purchased at the supermarket, but we recommend that you bring them. Bed linens will also be provided. TV and internet is not available in the bungalows. There is a small outdoor terrace with table and chairs. No extra tents allowed. During middle and high season the only rental periods are Fridays-Fridays or Sundays-Sundays. In low season the rental period is more flexible.

Behind the Mediterraneo Bungalows are the Empuries Bungalows, they are quite new and fairly larger and they offer a more private atmosphere. They provide space for up to 5 persons. One bedroom is equipped with a double bed and the second one with a bunk bed and a single bed.

Important: The camping is officially open from 14.05.- 26.09.11. During off season (from Easter and until mid October) only the Mediterraneo Bungalows, Club Mistral Center and the Oasis Bar will be open. During this time the bed linens are extra, 8 EUR per person/week. Towels are not available.

Our opinion: Great for families and everybody who prefers to live right at the surf spot. The bungalows are not very spacious and you can't expect much privacy.
