I went out with a 4.0; it was too windy so i had to stay back on the beach and watch; went sailing on a 3.7 later on in Essaouira.
what a nice wave spot though...It is already worth to travel to Morocco. Wave novices find great conditions in front of the center in Essaouira. from small to medium size waves.
Moulay is about 15 km north of Essaouira. on demande the center organizes wave trips to Moulay. they pack everything, help you rigging in place and keep an eye on you while you are sailing.
In Moulay you will meet some future windsurfing pros... still little boys but already ripping in the waves: they tell you which sail size you need to take out.
In Moulay the wind is even stronger than in the Bay of Essaouira.
Morocco just rocks.
