The environment authorities have anounced, that about 80-90 percent of the affected area will recover within 2 years.
Contrary to first reports holiday makers were never reallly endangered by the fires – in the affected areas all persons were evacuated in time.
The extreme temperatures of over 40 degrees Celcius has gone down to pleasant 30 degrees.
Windsurfing conditions are even better as the last few years. Our highwind excursions are booked well most of the days and the centre is meeting point for many new beginners.
