On Gran Canaria last week we received one of the very first MISTRAL boards – Jonas Ceballos brought the Shock Wave 86 (Single Fin) straight from the photo shoot on Lanzarote.

Of course we had to test it so we took it out on the water directly the next day with pretty good south-west conditions at Bahia Feliz.

As we shared the board together with all of our instructors and guests and because the conditions were a little bit unstable, we can´t really say a lot about the features of the board.

However, everybody was stoked by its easy handling!
As for the optic, the Shock Wave definitely looks quite posh; gloss varnish, shiny and intense colours and on top super comfortable foot pads.

For next weekend, the forecast predicts strong winds – and guess what; we will continue with our test extensively and keep you up to date!
