02|07|10 +++ PWA Grand Prix 2010 - GRAN CANARIA | POZO
From 06.-09. of Juli the PWA Grand Prix will be held in Pozo Izquierdo, Gran Canaria. This spot is internationally famous on account of the ideal windsurfing conditions, the wind being ever present.
There the wind usually blows from the left, tending to be very 
strong, with the result that you must use 3,0 and 4 metre sails if you want to fully enjoy this spot, which is one of the most windy places in the world. The waves are generally no less than one metre high and they can reach heights of up to 3 metres.
Club Mistral will visit the competition with their guest on a regular 
basis, mostly in combination with our highwind excursions. Also Moritz the 14 year old son of our base leader Claus will take part in the eliminations, trying to achieve a start place in the spectacular event.
