Mistral International is getting ready for a new board range in 2010!
The famous Mistral brand is going in a new direction in the windsurf/surf hardware business,
and an old friend is taking over the brand leadership for the new 2010 board range.
World famous high profile windsurfer Anders Bringdal will take over the license on the 1st of June 2009
and will manage the business from Marseille.
The 2010 board range will be produced in Vietnam and will be available from the end of 2009 onwards.
Mistral co-founder and designer Ernsfried Prade will be a consultant for the company.
The 4 times world champion Anders Bringdal is very optimistic concerning the new product
"I am very happy with this new opportunity, even though it isn’t the easiest of times to be launching a new windsurf line.
But I am 100 percent convinced that this new deal will ensure that we can produce the best products, and take full advantage of the Mistral brand name.
This will enable Mistral to play a pivotal role in the world of windsurfing and to meet customer expectations."
At the annual Center Managers meeting of Club Mistral,
which took place in Garmisch Partenkirchen, Anders Bringdal and Ado Huismann presented their exciting future plans.
