Our team member of the month for August is Youssef Ramili.

Youssef came to Essaouira a few years ago for the music festival. He was so taken with the flair and lifestyle in Essaouira that he made up his mind to stay there without further ado. He originally came from Agadir, 200 km away.

Youssef has been with our team for almost a year, teaching kitesurfing.
 
Youssef is truly a big man, who positively radiates good will.

His nickname has always been "Rasta tranquille" – 'Rasta' because of his erstwhile imposing rasta locks and 'tranquille' because he always has a smile on his face and is never found annoyed or edgy.

Charlotte: "Stay the way you are!" I admire your calm manner and adore your music." (Youssef has been playing the guitar for years.)

Samad: You're great…like a big brother… despite the chaos in our apartment!

Tarek: "You're always there for us, it's great to work with you… whether it's kitesurfing or windsurfing, you're always there to help us!"

Mounahim: "You've been with us for only a year but you already fit in so well; we're delighted and greatly impressed."

JL: "Good show, my big friend; now all you need to do is practise your 'double handle pass kite loop one hand fusion board' – your specialty, I know. You're the greatest – many thanks for your help and excellent support!"

Seb: "Friendly and hospitable, in a good mood all the time, super team member – honestly, an example for all of us on the team…. Just stay the way you are… "

The team from the Ocean Vagabond Restaurant: from all the girls: "We're all crazy about you…. In Arabic: meki dirsh elmeshakil… kann breouk bzef…."

For our part, we would like to wish Youssef all the best for the future and sincerely hope that he will remain a member of our team for a long time to come!
