Although Burak is only 19 years old, he has been a member of Club Mistral's Alacati team for 4 years.

Burak first started working for us in his school holidays, rigging up sails and carrying guests' equipment down to the water.
This offered him the opportunity to windsurf free of charge and earn a bit of pocket money at the same time.

Again and again guests told us that they had opted for Club Mistral because apparently even the young boys who helped out in the service sector knew exactly how to trim a sail properly, where to place the harness lines and what to do in case of a spin-out.
They were talking about Burak!

We have all grown very fond of Burak, with his friendly, open manner, and he is totally committed to his work.
His motivation and enthusiasm for windsurfing have not waned over the years and he still spends every spare minute on the water!
By the time the rest of the team arrives at the centre in the morning, Burak can be seen leaving the water after his morning session and in the evening, when everyone else has long since taken their place at the beach bar, Burak can still be found on the water, practising the latest freestyle moves.

Four year ago, when he started working for us, he was on the point of getting the knack of the water start and footstrap sailing.

Today he is No. 3 in the Turkish Freestyle ranking list and has not returned from a single contest so far this year without a cup.

His motivation combined with his friendly, open manner have made him an established member of our team and we look forward to having him in the team for a long time to come.
