Our Team Member of the Month for February 2010 is Dave Chase, who works at our Club Mistral & Skyriders center on Barbados.
Dave became part of the Club Mistral family in 1999 – and at 19 years of age the native-born Barbadian turned his favorite hobby into his profession. 
Dave is completely crazy about anything to do with water sports, especially windsurfing and surfing and is more than happy to be able to do what he enjoys most during working time.



Dave is very reliable and a super motivated person.
Sometimes you will find him at 7:00 a.m. already at the center, preparing everything and getting ready for the new day. However, Dave shows his energy not only in the morning – whenever you see him you´ll be impressed by his extremely energetic personality which is definitely contagious.
Everybody loves Dave for that and also for the way he deals with people. He always has an open ear for everybody, loves to have a chat (which sometimes seems never-ending…) with customers and so it´s not surprising that our center on Barbados is full of repeaters and has a lot of local business as people just love to come again because of Dave.

His skills in surfing as well as in windsurfing are amazing and he spends as much time as possible on the water. It’s no wonder that he does rescues, which he´s responsible for at the center, with a windsurfing beginner board rather than with a jetski! 
As he knows the spot like the back of his hand, he´s extremely good and Club Mistral & Skyriders Barbados is famous for its perfect rescue service. There are even clients coming to our center because they know that Dave is there and will rescue them in case they need help.
Also when he´s windsurfing for himself, he knows exactly who´s on the water and where they are located, to be ready to give them a hand. Apart from water sports, the most important things for Dave are his little son, who he´s crazy about – and Haribo Tuti Fruti.
If you really want to make him happy, bring some for him!

As he´s a native, Dave knows his beautiful home island like nobody else and he´s always happy to answer questions about it or give recommendations about what to do there.

Dave is such a great person – he´s super friendly, he makes you feel welcome straight away, he´s funny and completely crazy in a good way, he´s reliable and always helpful – can you imagine a better team member?
