Before joining Club Mistral in 2006, Onur had worked for Fun System in Dahab for some time; in all, he has thus had more than 6 years to familiarize himself with the spot, which he now knows like the palm of his hand.
With many years of experience in the windsurfing business, Onur is a very good windsurfer and a fabulous windsurfing instructor into the bargain - and his video clinics are by far the best!! His courses and clinics are always extremely entertaining and everybody enjoys them tremendously, but at the same time they are also characterized by a very high level of professional expertise!!
Onur is an absolute linguistic genius and – what is really impressive – speaks French, Italian, Arabic, English and German fluently, as well as his mother tongue, Turkish! Onur is one of the few foreigners in Dahab with a really good command of Arabic and has won lots of Egyptian friends and is highly respected by everyone as a result. Onur's knowledge of languages make him a real asset to Club Mistral and also an example of the fact that Club Mistral is a very internationally oriented company.
Since Tobi left for Alacati, Onur has been Center Manager in Dahab and is doing an excellent job.
Onur is always in a remarkably good mood and ready for a joke at any time!
He constantly radiates good humour, whether at the center or at home or wherever he is – and makes a truly important contribution towards creating the especially positive and cheerful atmosphere found at the center (things would definitely be different without him). It starts off first thing in the morning and lasts all day long.

At one time, Onur worked as an entertainer, as can still be seen from time to time; he has a natural talent, in fact, for everything connected with entertainment and fun. Participants in his courses profit from this; he exudes an extremely good mood in the team and in May this year, on the occasion of our trip to Dahab with a number of our tour operators, we had the privilege of seeing what was probably the funniest and best "spot and center introduction" ever – we nearly killed ourselves laughing! Those present can confirm this and will surely remember their visit for a long time.
He is absolutely everybody's darling and there can't possibly be anyone who dislikes him.
Onur is well known as a "party animal" and, alongside his job as Center Manager, has recently also started working as a DJ at the new Hilton disco in Dahab.
Besides all this, Onur is also a talented organizer, as has often been seen, for example, in connection with the "Dahab Fun Race" and party afterwards (Mistral photo shooting in May). Everything was perfectly planned and organized; he really threw himself into the task and worked at it for days on end, and at the end, everybody was very enthusiastic because it had been such a resounding success.
Recently, Onur has become extremely keen on free diving and devotes all of his days off to this pastime. Further hobbies are all kinds of music, cosy chillouts and watching DVDs and chatting – nobody else is as fast as Onur when it come to replying via Skype.
His family is very important to Onur and he visits them as often as possible in Turkey.
