Our Team Member of the Month for September 2008 is Mohamed "Mini Mo" Abdel. The name "Mini Mo" actually comes from the fact that when he started working for us at the Safaga centre, we already had another employee called Mohamed. The latter was, however, about 5 heads taller than the former, so it didn't take much thought to come up with the nicknames "Mini Mo" and "Maxi Mo" for the two.
With his constantly smiling face and height, everyone felt that the name "Mini Mo" suited him perfectly, and this name has stuck with him to this day.

Mini Mo is a great favourite with all our guests. He is always in a good mood and very helpful and friendly, and, although actually rather reserved, his beaming smile makes him very popular with everyone. One simply can't help liking him.

Mini Mo started working for Club Mistral Safaga when he was 15, straight after finishing school. He is a member of the windsurfing service team. The additional income has allowed him to attend a college of further education, where he has been training to become an electrical engineer. Ever sine he has been at this college, Mini Mo has spent his days off – Friday and Saturday – working for us at the centre.
In his holidays, he works full-time at the centre.
Mini Mo passed his most recent exam with a '2' (good) – despite working, more than just hard, on the side. We would like to congratulate him on these excellent results. Although we would, of course, love to have him with us forever at the Safaga centre, we are very, very happy for him, as a good education will also allow him to look forward to a secure future.

On his free days, Mini Mo sometimes has a go at windsurfing, too: he is talented and has already made a lot of progress.

As we have said, our guests in Safaga find him simply adorable (see photo), and he really does an excellent job for us. He is also very popular with the team and in Khaled, he has found almost a surrogate father at Club Mistral.

Mini Mo's friendly nature and open manner embody, yet again, the truly unique team spirit of our local team at Safaga, which goes down so well with our guests.
There is only one thing about Mini Mo that has his teammates worried: whether there will be anything left to eat at lunchtime, if he is the first to raid the fridge...

We hope that Mini Mo will remain with us for a long time to come and that he will be able to successfully complete his training as an electrical engineer.
