Our Team Member for May 08 is Meher, who has been with Club Mistral since 2006, when the Djerba center opened its doors, making him one of the "oldest members" of the Djerba team!
Meher has his VDWS license for windsurfing and also for catamaran sailing. He has had many years of experience as an instructor, as he worked for the Robinson Club in Djerba for over 7 years and also for Magic Life. He therefore knows the spot and conditions in Djerba like the palm of his hand, which is, of course, of great benefit to our guests, as is the fact that during the time spent with the Robinson Club he also learned to speak excellent German. Besides his mother tongue, Arabic, he also speaks fluent French and all this linguistic ability makes for first-class communication with his pupils!
Meher is always in the best of moods, creating a very good atmosphere and climate amongst the team and at the center. Everybody is infected by his cheery manner, which creates the ideal atmosphere. With his professional instruction and friendly, helpful manner, he is also very popular with our guests, as you can well imagine.
Maher was 3 times champion in laser sailing with the Tunisian team! That means something and calls for a lot of skill.
Meher has a German girl-friend, who visits him often in Tunisia. On his visits to Bavaria, he enjoys the wheat beer (Weissbier) in particular.
The Center Manager Meeting was held on Djerba in April 2008 and everybody was carried away by the spot, the catamaran sailing and the exceptionally friendly team. Meher, we're very happy to have you with us in the Club Mistral team and hope that you will remain with us for a very long time to come. Everybody at Club Mistral wishes the same!
