Our team member of the month July 2009 is Ahmed Farouk who is working for us at our Club Mistral Center in Dahab, Egypt.

Ahmed came to Club Mistral in 2000 – quite a long time ago. When he started working for us he mainly helped out in service.

Soon he discovered that it was actually teaching he was interested in and when  his own windsurfing got better and better within a super short time, he soon started giving lessons.
He also managed to pass the VDWS windsurfing instruction course and received his instructors license, and this was definitely the best thing he could do!

We do not exaggerate when we say that Ahmed is probably one of the best windsurf instructors of the whole big Club Mistral family!
No matter which level his students have and no matter whether his students are 7 years old or 80 years old – his lessons are always great and pure fun and really instructive.
Ahmed has everything a very good instructor has to have;
his own windsurfing level is very high and most of the time he´s the fastest guy in the whole Dahab lagoon, making the best carve jibes and having the nicest stance on the board.

Plus he is a very calm and patient person who gives the students as much time as they need. Apart from that his way of explaining something is just great. After him explaining in his own way and showing you what to do and how to do it on the simulator, you will do it straight away – 100% sure.
Last but not least he has the talent of seeing exactly what someone´s doing wrong on the windsurfing board – he can see the mistakes immediately and can also tell straight away what to change and what to do in a different way; windsurfing with Ahmed just seems to be so easy and improving comes fast when you have him as your instructor.

So it´s no wonder that really all of his students come back from their lessons with a huge smile on their faces, all satisfied and happy and eager to keep on going and learning more.

Apart from all those skills, Ahmed is just a great person and has an amazing personality.
He is always happy and in a good mood, he´s always smiling and friendly – no matter if it´s early in the morning or late in the night, he´s just positive through and through. Even if you are feeling grumpy, Ahmed will definitely bring you back  to the bright side of life!
That´s why working with him and having him around is a real pleasure.

In his private life Ahmed is a rather calm person and prefers to spend his free time either at home with his lovely wife or on the water windsurfing or on the beach playing with his super sweet nieces, the 3 daughters of his brother Said who is also working at our Club Mistral center in Dahab.
And as we are already talking about his favorite activities, table soccer has to be definitely mentioned; Ahmed just loves this game and he´s really, really good in it! If there was a world championship for that, Ahmed would be 100% sure the Number 1!

Ahmed is just a great, great person and you have to love him as he´s the calmest, friendliest, most helpful and just most likeable guy in whole of Dahab!!

Ahmed, we are all just more than happy to have you in our Club Mistral Team and we hope that you will stay with us for at least another century! Stay exactly as you are!!
