We would like to start the new year with a very popular team member from the Club Mistral Head Office in Weilheim – Jule Hermann, who heads our travel service operation, "Travel People".

Jule has been with Club Mistral since 1998 and it is due to her efforts that the small one-person operation, at that time still located in our old office building, has grown into one of Germany's biggest surf travel organisations, with three employees and a practical trainee. With lots of enthusiasm and energy, she has made "Travel People" what it is today – and the numerous regular customers pay tribute to this with their repeated bookings. Part of her secret lies in her erotic voice, for which she was highly commended by SURF Magazin, which awarded her a prize for the Best Advice. Her friendly, caring manner on the phone simply makes guests feel well looked after.

Jule "The Voice" Herrmann discovered her interest in the travel sector at an early stage and she has acquired professional knowledge and experience in every aspect of this industry.
She commenced with a traineeship in a travel bureau and then went on to study tourism. Next she spent a year in Australia as an au-pair girl. She also gathered a wealth of experience during her time with major tour operator FTI.

She was thus ideally equipped for the tasks awaiting her here, and when she was given the job at Head Office, through her partner Daniel, who had been working for CM° for quite a while, it was the perfect symbiosis – as a keen windsurfer, she had now found the ideal job.
Jule is altogether a very sporty person, both in summer and winter: jogging, skiing, mountainbiking, windsurfing of course, and her great passion – hockey. 
A native of Duisburg, Jule was a member of an extremely successful hockey team playing in the national division, while she was still living in the Ruhr region, and we can well imagine that still often thinks back wistfully to that time. Here in Bavaria, her adopted home, interest in this sport is not nearly as keen.
Jule and Daniel first moved to Tutzing on Lake Starnberg and last year to Garmisch, undoubtedly a big change for Jule, who rather hankers after city life. She has meanwhile grown to like the countryside here very much, even if her heart is still in the Ruhr – sitting in front of a serving of chips, ketchup and mayonnaise and drinking a cool "Köpi"“, which she prefers to the beer in Bavaria.
She loves to have a night out with the girls and the 'Oktoberfest' is one of her favourite destinations, likewise the top event of the year, the Carnival in Kölle (Cologne).

With Jule, you can celebrate the best parties; she is the first to come and the last to go, and her relaxed, fun-loving and high-spirited manner is completely infectious. She has a large circle of friends and her 'elves' tours', when she goes on holidays with the girls and hits the ski and surf spots, are famous. In this connection, mention must also be made of her 30th birthday party, surely one of the most legendary parties yet – a whole mob from the Ruhr plus friends from Bavaria in a hut in the Bavarian mountains, a sensational event people are still enthusing over.

With her straightforward but diplomatic manner, Jule is popular with everyone here in the office, as can be seen at our semi-annual, internal "kitchen-cleaning discussions".

For Jule and Daniel, 2004 will bring a number of pleasurable changes, as they are expecting a baby in May. We are all very happy for them and also pleased that Jule will continue to work for Travel People! We simply can't imagine Travel people without her.
