Rene Allavena, alias: Yallahvina = Arabic for 'Let's go'

Rene is the only Bavarian at Club Mistral's Head Office and has been a member of the Club Mistral team for a long time (about 15 Years).
Rene is the backbone of the company, a very special person with an XXL charisma.

For many years, Rene has been responsible for logistics and personnel and successfully organizes the dispatch of our equipment to Club Mistral's 15 windsurfing and Skyriders 12 kite surfing centres. The task is often a complicated one and not without obstacles – in fact quite the opposite – but Rene's gift for improvisation frequently makes the impossible possible.
As a side-effect of his job Rene has to travel a lot, visiting the centres and setting things right, personally attending to his teams' needs and providing new impulses. The centre members have great respect and affection for the 'big boss'. Newcomers to Club Mistral are told: "Watch out! The big boss is coming!"
His charisma commands respect but everyone loves his manner: always straightforward, but with respect for the other person's opinion.

Despite his many trips, Rene nevertheless spends most of the year at Head Office in Weilheim (Upper Bavaria). The team here especially appreciates his warm manner, open ear and the fact that he finds time for everybody, be it to clarify problems or simply have a good laugh and a chat together; Rene simply has a very good feeling for people and we couldn't imagine life without him here at Club Mistral and as a friend.

Apart from wind- and kitesurfing, his hobbies are: motorbiking and cycling, skiing in winter.
With his friend Daniel, he is known to cycle from Garmisch to Weilheim (a distance of 55 km) in 1 hour and 43 minutes (good that we 've got a shower here!) – Pretty respectable, YES PAPA!
The family is, of course, the centre of his life: he loves his wife, Andrea, and the twins, Daniel und Luca, more than anything in the world. The twins are now 6 years old and already absolute sports aces; they are already keen skiers, ice hockey players and windsurfers, among other things. They, too, are fast developing their own unique personalities – but in this case there are two of them!
Rene also finds time to join friends at the regulars' table in the pub or the beer garden in his hometown of Garmisch. Human contacts are simply extremely important for Rene.

- A soft heart in a rough exterior

- Friendly slaps on the back
- Motorbiking = hot rods
- Loves Bavarian traditions, i.e. conviviality and the habit of staying up until all hours in cosy Bavarian
  pubs.

There are guests, too, who know Rene from the "old days" – Rene the Pirate. He always wore his pirate's scarf – to protect himself from the sun?? No, in order to be trendy, of course!

Without you, Rene, Club Mistral would not be what it is today.
